This year at our Christmas meal held at The Plough THE KERI BAXTER RIDDEN MEMORIAL TROPHY was won by Angela Smith and Jane Young. This trophy is presented to the member with the most ridden points.

The POINTS TROPHY winner is Sarah Chisholm.  This trophy is presented to the member with the most points for non – ridden events.

Trophy Points System
THE KERI BAXTER RIDDEN MEMORIAL TROPHY – For ridden events only. One point will be awarded to a member taking part in any ridden event organised by Aln RC including; lessons, happy hacker, schooling.  Two points will be awarded to a member competing in British Riding Club events. The award will be presented at the Aln RC Christmas dinner every year to the member who gains the most RIDDEN points in the Riding Club year Jan – Dec. Please note this trophy is perpetual and will need to be signed for.  The recipient must agree to have the trophy engraved at their own expense.

POINTS TROPHY – FOR NON RIDDEN EVENTS
One point will be awarded to a member taking part/attending any event organised by Aln RC.  Two points will be awarded to a member helping at a British Riding Club event.  The award will be presented at the Aln RC Christmas dinner every year to the member who gains the most NON RIDDEN points in the Riding Club year Jan - Dec. Please note this trophy is perpetual and will need to be signed for.  The recipient must agree to have the trophy engraved at their own expense.

Rider Magazine
BRC’s quarterly magazine keeps all members up-to-date with news, information and articles.

Competitions
BRC offers a wide range of Area Qualifiers and Championships. Affiliated Riding Clubs also offer further competitions, training and area points/inter-club competitions.

BRC Official Rule Book
Contains rules for all the disciplines of BRC Qualifiers and Championships. Each club receives two complimentary copies each year. Copies can also be bought from the BHS Bookshop.

Guidelines for Organisers of Official Competitions
A comprehensive guide to running competitions, including health and safety. Each club will receive two complimentary copies each year. Copies can also be bought from the BHS Bookshop.

Examinations and Examiners Handbook
Syllabi for BRC exams and a contact list of examiners. Each club will receive two complimentary copies each year. Copies can also be bought from the BHS Bookshop.

Training
BRC offers comprehensive training including Senior Horse Welfare 1-4, Equitation 1-4 and Junior Equitation and Horse Welfare 1-4.
